Yesterday
autumn seemed forever
Last night I dreamt
it rained all day
I tasted them both together
and continued walking
along the bend
here from this cliff
I can see the sun
surrendering to a colour-sapped earth
wrinkled mountains are braving the chill
and slowly crumbling
into the wild currents of the river
through blankets of cloudy sky
the white moon is casting ghastly shadows
Someone is whispering a picture story
here before me
one road looks like the letter U
running towards memory lane
And the other road is like my soul;
meandering on
I am already treading the road
wondering if a home awaits me
where the rainbow ends
I know
I know I will come back tomorrow at sunrise
to take a deep breath and get drunk
on the madness of the atmosphere again
