you can call me names, you know.
Devotica,Devotica!
names are so infinitely fascinating!
they are each like an enormous quilt, with their own curious patches of story and tome, fact and fiction, glory and violin-moment. Nikita.
each name has its hues, its own music, its own season.
each name has its own price, its own point of purchase.
Purwaai.
i dont think names have marginal utility.
names are not utilitarian things. they are not things.
na.
its own pho-ne-tic tic tic tic tic and sy-lla-ble ble ble ble
words have the potential to be aromatic
or just bland.
a little like vanilla without the sugar.
flavour full.yes. Naina?
names are like spices.
i love names with injected meaning.
Sumera! they make me want to characterise the name-carrier with the meaning.
but i love names sans meaning much much more.
cause they give free reign to my own imagination and that is one things i always like.
so i can make my own pictures and sound bytes, add my own form and style and whiff of personalised meaning. not like a fixed definition as in the case of a meaningful name but like a could-be, a what-if,potential, possible sort of attempt which is as open to change as change is open to itself.
and then.
i have a love affair with names. My dear Amore.
i love them in their moment of pronounciation. Natasha.
in that very special magical moment of truth.
its amazing how names becomes cues to who we are.
so i say,"kitty" and kitty looks back at me. and we smile.
or i say,"dash".
i say,"dash!" again.
but "dash" chooses to be ignorant and thus, will not respond.
but in both cases, names have become cues :)
yes, you can call me names.
you can give me your own name.
you can change it by the week or season or year.
you can have my name your way.
because now im this and then im that.
and yesterday i used to be.
tomorrow will be new.
and que sera sera.
ya. when i look up at the sky.i think.
oh ho.im just a special little nobody.
and thats a very very very ry ry ry shining thing to be.
muwah :)
