that there was no
question mark stain
where you were already filling it in?
i turn his face towards me and speak.
so lets write a line then
together,us both
word by word lets build it on
then let us smile and let us cry
for the parting shot
into the night let us leave
facing our backs to a moment
and pretending to be focussed about journeys
once we have written the line
let us just leave it be
alone.
